Frequently asked questions
How does a task’s health work?
Every task starts at 100% health, which drains steadily until it hits 0 at its deadline. If you complete it before then, it survives; if time runs out, it is eliminated and counts as a casualty in the daily summary.
How do I complete, edit or delete a task?
Tap the green circle to complete it, tap the card to change the title, and swipe it left to delete it.
I’m not getting alerts
The app alerts you when a task has 10% health left and when it expires. If alerts aren’t arriving:
- Check that Matatareas notifications are turned on in Settings → Apps → Matatareas → Notifications.
- Turn on Alarms & reminders on that same screen so they arrive at the exact time.
- If your phone restricts apps’ battery use, set Matatareas to Unrestricted.
Can I recover an eliminated task?
No. A task that reaches its deadline without being completed is eliminated for good: that’s how the game works. Tasks you delete by swiping can’t be recovered either.
Do my tasks sync with other devices?
No. The app works offline and your tasks exist only on your phone. If you switch phones, you can keep them with Android backup.
What data does the app collect?
None. It’s all explained in the privacy policy.
