This page explains how to delete your ¿Cuándo fue? (“When was it?”) account, developed by Sergio Asenjo Alcalde, and what happens to your data.
From the app
- Open ¿Cuándo fue? with an Internet connection.
- Go to Settings → Privacy.
- Tap Delete account and data and confirm with Delete everything.
- If your account is linked to Google, the app will ask you to pick your account again to confirm it’s you.
Deletion is immediate and can’t be undone. If you want to keep your plants, use Export backup in Settings first.
Without access to the app
If you no longer have the app installed and your account was linked to Google, email spinolabss@gmail.com from that Google address, with the subject “Delete account ¿Cuándo fue?”. We’ll delete it and confirm within 30 days at most.
A guest account (without Google) isn’t associated with any email or any data that could show it’s yours, so it can only be deleted from the app on the phone where it was created.
What data is deleted
- Your account and profile: identifier, plus your Google email, name and photo if you linked it.
- The households where you are the only member, with all their tasks, history, notes and achievements.
- The invitations you created or used.
- Your member card in any shared household.
What data is kept
- In a shared household, the household still belongs to the others: the entries you made and the achievements you unlocked stay in its history, but under “former member”, with nothing that identifies you. If you were the host, the household passes to another member.
- On your phone, the offline copy and settings may remain until you uninstall the app or clear its data from Android settings.
- Backups you exported: files you saved or sent outside the app are yours and we can’t delete them.
We keep nothing else.
Deleting only some data
You can delete a task, with all its history, from its page in the app, and edit or delete your entries. If you want to delete something you can’t from the app, write to spinolabss@gmail.com saying which data you want deleted.
